Southbridge Family Center

The Family Center is an indoor play center for preschool children and their families. Day care providers and other caregivers are also welcome. Features at the Family Center include an art station, block area, play kitchen, a puppet theater, soft surface play ground and more! Monthly themes and weekly projects add to the fun.

The Family Center is located in the KDC Building, 486 Worcester St., Southbridge. It is FREE for Southbridge residents and their preschool-aged children. The Center is also free for families residing in Charlton, Sturbridge, Webster, Dudley, Oxford, Spencer, Brimfield, Wales, Holland and the Brookfields if they have a young child (birth – 5 years) who is receiving early intervention (EI) services or is on an individualized education plan (IEP) through their local school district. The cost for out of town guests who wish to attend but do not receive EI or IEP services is $5 per family per visit.

Trails are for biking, hiking, and horse use. No motorized vehicles are allowed on the McKinstry Brook Trail! Parking is available at the trailheads.
