The Southbridge Retirement Board is pleased to provide our active and retired members, their families, and the public, access to information about the Southbridge Retirement System.

It is our intention that the website be used as a helpful retirement planning tool, as a reliable source of important explanations of the public employee retirement law, and a way to report current news about retirement benefits.

More Information:

All retirees receive their retirement allowance once per month, usually on the last business day of the month. Please note that it is important to keep the Retirement office updated when changing addresses and telephone numbers, and with any changes in marital status.

Announcement

The Board unanimously voted to grant retirees a COLA increase of 3% on their first $14,000 of Retirement Benefits, or $420. This increase will take effect on July 1, 2022.
