Administration

Patrol Division
Patrol Division responsibilities include responding to any and all calls for service, as well as proactive involvement in the community.

Detective Unit
The Detective Division is responsible for conducting follow-up investigations from the patrol force, in addition to self-initiated investigations.

School Resource Officer
The Southbridge Police Department School Resource Office Program is a partnership between the Southbridge Public School system and the Southbridge Police Department.

K9 Unit
The Southbridge Police Department currently has one Comfort K9 and new additions in the future!

Animal Control
The Animal Control Officer's focus is on educating the public on proper animal care, and rescuing animals from dangerous and/or abusive situations.

Special Traffic Constables
The Southbridge Police Department utilizes Traffic Constables to supplement with traffic functions.

Crime Scene Services
The mission of the crime scene unit is to assist other divisions within the department, such as the detective unit, domestic violence unit, and patrol division in the collection, identification and documentation of evidence.

Domestic Violence / Family Services Unit
The Domestic Violence/Family Services Unit is a specialized unit was established in 1996 within the Southbridge Police Department. Officers are frequently sent to violence related training courses to continually monitor and modify our department's anti-violence programs.

The Southbridge Police Department Honor Guard consists of the men and women of all ranks of the police department.
