Dog licenses are now on sale at the Town Clerk’s Office, Southbridge for 2022. Licensing fees are as follows: Males and females are $20 a year. Neutered males and spayed females are $10 a year. A certificate of spaying or neutering must be shown if it is the first time licensing the dog. A current rabies vaccination certificate is also required for licensing. Owners may license their dog through the mail or by dropping off a check/money order in the payment box at the side of the building. A dog license must be written in the name of persons 18 years of age or older. Three-year licenses are no longer available according to the Town of Southbridge’s Code of Ordinances.
Current dog licenses expire on March 31, 2022, and owners must license their dogs no later than April 30, 2022. After this date, a late fee of $10 will be charged for dog licenses.
