From Spanish & Latin dances mystical meditations and adventures, guitar virtuoso Aaron Larget-Caplan presents an action packed concert of music that pushes the boundaries of what can be done on the guitar. Featuring music India, Japan, Europe and the United States, Aaron will perform music by Bach, Albéniz, Keigo Fujii, and premiere new works by Alan Hovhaness (Massachusetts), Koji Nakano (Japan), Vineet Shende (Maine), and Roger Eon (France).

Noted for his “astounding technical proficiency and artistic delicacy” by the Boston Musical Intelligencer, Aaron Larget-Caplan is a recording and touring guitarist. He performs solo and chamber music throughout Europe, Russia and the USA. A sought-after instrumentalist, he has premiered over 80 compositions by a wide range of composers, arranged works by the likes of Bach, Schubert, Albéniz, Rodrigo and Reynaldo Hahn. His arrangements of John Cage for guitar are published by Edition Peters Group, and are the first official arrangements for the instrument. 
Aaron’s recordings are available on Albany, Navona and Stone Records. He serves on faculty at the University of Massachusetts Boston and formerly the Boston Conservatory.
